Senior Project Manager - Frankfurt School of Finance & Management
Norah Becerra has worked for the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management since 2007. Previously she gained a large practical experience in microfinance institutions and worked many years as an agriculture and MSME expert worldwide. At Frankfurt School she leads the Sustainable Rural Development Competence Center with a holistic approach, which is based in three pillars: better finance, better production and better markets. In this context and to achieve the goal of expanding agricultural credit to farmers, she has contributed to the development of appropriate lending methodologies, scoring tools, agriculture score cards and a cash flow analysis tool that integrates several risks analysis, including climate change. She has also developed concepts for agriculture value chain finance and to build strategic links to provide extension services to farmers to improve production.
