Philip Herrey heads Mastercard’s Consumer Goods Partnerships, working on new solutions for the industry with a focus on inclusive and sustainable growth. His team is working with consumer goods and technology companies to digitize payment flows and to create opportunities utilizing Mastercard’s data, security and innovation assets. He has developed Mastercard’s flagship program “Jaza Duka, enabling micro stores in emerging markets to stock up their shelves with micro loans, an initiative which was rewarded with the “SME Finance Forum’s Platinum Award for Responsible Digital Innovation of the Year 2018”.

Philip joined Mastercard from Reckitt where he was in charge of the company’s global sales strategy. He started his career in strategy consulting for consumer goods and retail. Philip studied at the London School of Economics and holds an MBA from London Business School.
