M. Jamal Uddin, brings more than 27 years of management experience in the financial sector to IDLC Finance Limited. He has been appointed as CEO and Managing Director of IDLC in 2021.

M. Jamal Uddin is the first homegrown CEO and Managing Director of IDLC. Prior to his current role, he served as DMD & Head of Business of the company since 2015. M. Jamal Uddin also served as the Head of Corporate and Structured Finance, and have marked his leadership in the company by bringing a number of innovative additions to the Corporate and Structured Finance Department with a special focus on term financing and syndicated fund-raising for large local and multinational corporate houses of Bangladesh.  

M. Jamal Uddin began his career in 1994 as a Management Trainee in IDLC Finance Limited, and he has been instrumental in IDLC’s growth over the last two decades- especially in building a strong Corporate Customer base and Relationship Management.

M. Jamal Uddin has completed his BBA and MBA from International University, Missouri, U.S A. He has also obtained a number of prestigious international trainings in Singapore, Thailand and China.
