Sebastian von Wolff is heading the Finance Advisory activities at GET.invest, a European programme that mobilizes investment in renewable energy in developing countries. Sebastian combines engineering and finance expertise and has deep experience in developing and financing small and medium sized on- and off-grid renewable energy projects. He was worked with and advised on instruments such as carbon finance, mezzanine, debt, structured funds and local currency. Before joining GIZ in 2016 he was Head of Energy Finance at the Green for Growth Fund, an impact investment fund specializing in green energy and managed by Finance in Motion. Earlier positions include Regional Manager South Africa at Orbeo/ Société Générale and Project Manager at the German Energy Agency (dena). Sebastian holds a degree in engineering from the University of Stuttgart and obtained an MBA from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge.
