Clive Allison is Global Director New Business Models, Global Sustainability at Unilever one of the world's most successful consumer goods companies. More than 2.5bn people use a Unilever product somewhere in the World every day helping to deliver Unilever’s purpose: “to make Sustainable Living Commonplace”.
Clive has a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge and more than 20 years of experience in leadership roles in R&D and Innovation, with a particular emphasis on disruptive solutions that deliver social impact.
Clive’s current work is focused on supporting impact entrepreneurs to test their business models and to scale businesses that deliver the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) whilst providing growth opportunities for Unilever’s business. In this capacity he has led initiatives including; TRANSFORM a £40m partnership with DFID and commercial partners to support new business model experimentation in developing countries and ADVANCE a corporate sub-fund of the Global Innovation Fund, anchored by Unilever, to help impact enterprises transition to scale.
