Veronica is currently the MSME Manager of Banco Pichincha, the largest private bank in Ecuador with 30% market share and country leader in the MSME segment. Veronica leads the micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) business strategy and commercial operations and has been instrumental in developing the bank’s Women and Gender Intelligence programs.
Veronica has contributed to implement successful business strategies in the SME segment to promote the financial inclusion and growth of these entrepreneurs who are a significant part of Ecuador’s economic and social engine. Furthermore, Veronica has been instrumental in the design and development of several strategic projects, including the implementation of the bank’s women program which focuses on supporting the growth of women-led businesses and incorporating a gender intelligence dimension into the bank’s operations.
She has an MBA from the Francisco de Vitora University (Madrid Spain) – ADEN International Business School.
