Global Head of Distribution Models for Corporate and Commercial Banking, BBVA
Ignacio López-Perea Páramo is currently the Global Head of Distribution Models for Corporate and Commercial Banking at BBVA, the line of business which covers corporates, companies and institutions across the 30 countries in which BBVA operates.
In this role, López-Perea Páramo is in charge of evolving BBVA’s management and distribution models by optimizing the combination of 'human to human’, ‘human to machine’ and ‘machine to machine’ interactions. Within those responsibilities, he is also directly leading the transformation of the human to human (H2H) aspect of our business model, through a new digital workplace, to enable our relationship managers and solution specialists to have more frequent, relevant and smarter H2H interactions with our clients, while reducing the time they dedicate to internal processes.
He studied Business Administration at Saint Louis University (USA) and earned a MBA from Edinburgh Management School, University of Edinburgh (UK) and a Master in Finance from Universidad Complutense in Madrid (Spain). In 2006 he did an executive course in “Strategic Financial Analysis for Business Evaluation” at Harvard Business School and is currently doing a Executive Certificate in Economic Development at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government (USA).
