Allison Baller is IBM’s Business Development Leader for Blockchain engagements in the Financial Services Sector. She has global responsibility for business development of IBM’s universal payment systems solution which will leverage Blockchain to support a universal network for real-time clearing and settlement. The interoperable network will support multiple digital assets, initially focusing on cash, cross-border payments and foreign exchange.

Prior to her current role, Baller was IBM’s Global Leader for Mobile Payments where she focused on building new business models, driving innovative deals and establishing key technology partnerships in collaboration with a cross- industry ecosystem of players in Financial Services, Telecommunications, Retail, and Government.

Baller holds an M.B.A. from the Goizueta Business School of Emory University with a concentration in Marketing & Strategy, and a B.A. in Latin American Studies from the University of Virginia.
