He is CEO and Founder of SizeUp, a software as a service platform providing big data to small businesses. He works with banks and large enterprises to implement SizeUp through their online services to empower their small business customers to make smarter decisions through data. This enables increased online conversation rates, customer engagement, acquisition, and retention. Top executives from Google, Facebook, and Salesforce.com selected SizeUp as the 1st place award winner for online tools to grow the economy, recognizing SizeUp through the US Department of Commerce.
His work in geographic information systems, economic development, and the Internet is featured in The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Forbes, Fortune, and The New York Times. He is author of multiple books about online business assistance and economic development and speaks on these subjects at conferences globally.
Prior to SizeUp, he co-founded a successful Internet SaaS company focused on corporate site selection and economic development, which made the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing private companies 5 years in a row.
He holds a Master’s Degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
